RANDON GUY, WOODEN TOW BOARD, LET´S SEE WHAT HAPPENS!!!

I have never really been into facebook, but it is such a great way to stay in contact with people and meet new ones. Every now and then a will receive a message from a random person about something interesting. The other day I received a message from a shaper in England who is interested in shaping me a wooden tow board. Interesting was my initial thought. I have no idea what Roy's capabilities are or what his facilities are like, but we will find out because I sent him the dimensions and he is going to start building the board. I will keep you updated with the progress!!

Endless Summer at the Pacific Edge

The Endless Summer might be the most iconic surf film of all time and staying at the Pacific Edge in Laguna Beach, CA makes you feel like you are part of that era. You can even get barrelled in the hotel lobby. The hotel has such an awesome feel with the Endless Summer playing continuosly and classic surf tunes. The rooms are painted in vibrant ocean colors and are spacious. Everything about the Pacific Edge is awesome. If you ever make it to Laguna make sure to stay at the Pacific Edge!!!

GREG NOLL GRAND OPENING

 

Having been to the Noll shop several times I didn't think it could get any better.  Every time was an honor to be among such greatness. Just standing next to the classic wooden boards makes you feel like you are stepping back in time. The Noll ohana has certainly out done themselves with the new addition to the store. My favorite part are the three projectors that are continuously and simultaneously playing three different surf movies.  The grand opening of the new addition was a huge success. One room packed with the movies playing, another room extra packed with people waiting to get posters signed by Greg Noll and Garrett, and then outside it was standing room only with people listening to the live band. The moral of the story is that if you haven't checked out the Noll store then you are missing out and should definitely make some time to stop by and say hi. You never know who you might run in to!!!!!

IN MEMORY OF OUR DEAR FRIEND

One of our best big wave charges has passe!!! Sion Milowsky. 

So so sorry for his beautiful family and all his friends. Sion was one of the nicest people you could ever meet, so much aloha, so humble, a great father and a friend. We will all miss you Sion!!! When ever you are sad, or upset, just remember he is surfing perfect waves in heaven waiting for us to join him!!!
