Holy Moly!!! Fight Night was crazy!! Imagine sitting at a 5 star dinner with the back drop being a 50 million dollar car collection as a boxing match is happening live in the rink, blood and sweat from the fighter could fly into your plate at any moment. There is nothing like it!! When I first arrived I was ushered into a room where they had set up a receiving line for all the guest to go through and get their picture taken. I couldn't believe it and was so honored to be included in the receiving line with such legends as John Rutherford, Al Unser Jr, and Tiny. From there we went into the main hall where we had dinner and the fights started. In between it all was the live auction. They had the most beautiful black lab puppy that I got to take into the rink that was auctioned off for $5,000. Last year the puppy that was auctioned off beat the Geinus Book of world records for the most expensive puppy, $50,000.00!!!! After the puppy it was my turn!! I know I am not as cute as a puppy but for some reason the Marconi's auctioned off my GMAC Experience and surprising enough it raised $27,000.00 for their foundation. I was shocked but am so excited to share my passion with the winners when they come to the North Shore. It was a really nice night for Nicole and I, before we have to head off to Mexico for the Sayulita SUP contest!! Thanks for reading and I will post again soon!!
